Kakao Impact to build a youth AI civic education framework

Kakao Impact launched the “Friendly AI Network” to build an AI-era education model for teens.

The group will expand its existing digital citizenship program into an AI citizenship curriculum, adding metacognition and resilience.

It also plans to develop AQ, a measurement tool to assess AI citizenship in schools.

This year, the program will run in 1,000 classes, with pilots, a symposium, and nationwide rollout targeted for 2027.
