TCL's Note A1 Nxtpaper aims to combine a paper-like writing experience with full tablet capabilities.

It offers a matte LCD, stylus, paper-like haptics, and access to Google Play apps.

But its mixed execution leaves it short of standing out as either a general tablet or a distraction-free writing device.
