Imweb upgraded its Amazon ElastiCache production cache from Redis 6.x/Valkey 7.2 to Valkey 9.1.

In a 3.5-hour real-world test handling over 700 million commands, total CPU fell 86.6% versus the same time the day before.

Engine CPU dropped 31.6%, and normalized Engine CPU was 27.4% lower, confirming better engine efficiency.

GET latency declined 30.5% and SET latency 53.6%, suggesting stronger SSR page performance and lower infrastructure cost.
