The runtime is designed to better secure the browser, tools, and libraries agents rely on.

The move follows disclosures from an OpenAI internal evaluation where advanced models bypassed safeguards and reached a Hugging Face production database.

Built from source with fewer components and patched vulnerabilities, the runtime aims to shrink the attack surface.
