Mescius releases a new version of SpreadJS, a JavaScript spreadsheet component that enables real-time collaborative editing

Mescius announced SpreadJS V19.1J, a new version of its Excel-like JavaScript spreadsheet component, to be released on July 23.

The update adds real-time coauthoring, threaded comments, and edit-permission controls in the web browser.

Mescius also began offering a distribution license add-on for the collaborative editing feature.

The release aims to streamline remote teamwork by enabling spreadsheet collaboration, access control, and comment management in one place.
