China has found a giant “tunnel” to bring its cars into Europe without Europe. And it is off Spain

Chinese firms are expanding auto manufacturing around Tangier and Kenitra, Morocco, building EV parts and other components near Europe.

The setup could let Chinese-backed vehicles and inputs reach the EU more easily through Morocco’s favorable trade links.

EU officials worry Morocco could become an indirect route to bypass stricter tariffs on imports from China.

The move may intensify pressure on European carmakers and complicate tariff enforcement.
