Cursor 3 also improved file-level commit and push workflows, making small review and deployment steps smoother.

However, the overall experience felt more like polish than a breakthrough, with few truly new capabilities.

For broader real-world development, collaboration, and ecosystem fit, the author still sees Claude Code as the stronger option.

As a result, they were not convinced that upgrading to Cursor 3 was worth it compared with Claude Code.
