GTA 6 subscription might actually happen, Take-Two earnings call suggests

Take-Two reaffirmed GTA 6’s Nov. 19 release date during its earnings call.

Executives also pointed to the strength of GTA Online and the rapid growth of GTA+.

That has fueled speculation that GTA 6 could launch with, or be supported by, subscription-based monetization.

The comments suggest Rockstar and Take-Two may look beyond game sales to extend revenue from the franchise.
