Alienware Area-51 Desktops Get a Ryzen X3D2 Glow-Up This Week - IGN

Alienware will start offering Area-51 desktops with AMD’s Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 on April 22.

The new chip boosts cache to 208MB from 144MB on the previous 9950X3D, but raises power use to 200W and slightly lowers boost clocks.

It could improve gaming and productivity in high-end prebuilt PCs, though the final price has not been announced.

The current Ryzen 9 9950X3D Area-51 starts at $4,099.99.
