Ubisoft working on a new open-world Far Cry game, report says

Ubisoft has reportedly scrapped a Far Cry extraction-shooter project.

The company is now said to be developing a new open-world FPS codenamed Kodiak.

A separate mainline Far Cry entry, codenamed Blackbird, is also in development.

The move suggests Ubisoft is steering the franchise back toward a more familiar format.
