‘Destiny Rising’ Could Actually Replace ‘Destiny 2’ For The Time Being

Destiny Rising is a NetEase mobile game launched in August 2025.

The game recently added a new raid and held a World’s First race awarding rings.

It currently offers more content than Destiny itself and has a backlog mainstream Destiny players haven’t seen.

Players can run Destiny Rising on PC via an emulator, but it is not canon and remains at least somewhat gacha.

It could serve as a stopgap during Destiny’s dead time, though Sony and Bungie could be roadblocks to replacing Destiny 2.
