Resident Evil Requiem producer says he’s sure every member of the dev team has considered a Resi game set in Japan

Capcom has discussed setting a future Resident Evil game in Japan, according to Resident Evil Requiem producer Masato Kumazawa.

Kumazawa said the series has no fixed timeline rules and Capcom will adjust continuity to fit the story and characters.

The company wants to keep Resident Evil fresh with new ideas while preserving the core horror identity that fans expect.
