How FFXIV Evercold will change the MMO's outdated features

Square Enix says Evercold will modernize several long-running FFXIV systems.

The update includes more flexible main quest progression, direct teleportation to quest givers, and real-time dungeon auto-balancing.

Duty support will expand to include chocobo party members, while the armory system gets streamlined item-level copying.
