Bose AirPlay speakers bring back 1990s Lifestyle branding, target HomePod

Bose has revived its Lifestyle brand with three new speakers: the compact Lifestyle Ultra Speaker, the Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar, and the Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer.

The new lineup supports Apple AirPlay and Google Cast, making it a wireless multiroom system with stereo pairing options.

The Lifestyle Ultra Speaker is positioned as a direct rival to Apple’s original HomePod, including a similar premium price point.

All three products are now available for preorder and are set to begin shipping on May 15.
