Another Don't Starve game is on the way

Klei Entertainment has announced Don't Starve Elsewhere, a new entry in the survival series.

The game shifts the franchise to 3D terrain with elevation changes, new biomes, enemies, animals, and bosses.

It appears to fold in mechanics from earlier DLC and spin-offs, including features added over years.

An early-access PC release is planned first, but Klei has not announced a launch date yet.
