Framework raised prices on its LPCAMM2-based Laptop 13 Pro after its memory supplier more than doubled costs.

The company said existing preorders keep their original pricing, but some 64GB orders may be shipped with 32GB modules.

32GB and 64GB memory options are now much more expensive, lifting overall laptop and mainboard pricing.

The move highlights how memory supply shocks are directly driving up PC hardware prices and changing preorder terms.
