Silent Hill Townfall preview: already one of 2026’s most terrifying games

A July preview spent three hours with Silent Hill: Townfall, a standalone spinoff from Glasgow studio Screen Burn Interactive.

The demo follows Simon Ordell in the foggy town of St. Amelia, mixing exploration, puzzles, radio-like CRT clues, and unsettling encounters.

Its eerie town, bunker, and hotel sequences suggest a terrifying, polished horror experience.

The strong early impression points to Konami’s Silent Hill revival continuing with another major release.
