LG Shatters the 1000Hz Barrier with UltraGear 25G590B, the First Monitor to Hit That Refresh Rate Natively at 1080p

LG unveiled the UltraGear 25G590B, a new flagship 24.5-inch IPS gaming monitor.

The company says it can run natively at 1000 Hz at 1080p, unlike earlier 1000 Hz monitors that used 720p dual-mode operation.

The monitor also includes motion blur reduction and AI-based picture and sound features.

LG plans to ship it in the second half of 2026, but pricing has not been disclosed.
