Summer Game Fest Co-Host Joins ‘Substack for Players’ as Player.gg Looks to Streamline Game Discovery

Lucy James is leaving GameSpot to launch lookingfor.game, an independent PC gaming newsletter.

The newsletter is tied to Player.gg, a new game-discovery platform debuting publicly around Summer Game Fest.

Player.gg aims to help players discover games, track wishlists, and find playtests and communities across stores.

Selected curators will also be able to offer paid subscriptions, giving creators a direct monetization path.
