Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 developer promises PC focus — Infinity Ward promises extensive optimization and is dropping older consoles

Infinity Ward says Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will launch on PC and current-gen consoles only, with no support for PS4 or Xbox One.

The PC version is being built with extensive graphics options, multiple upscaling and frame-generation tools, and support for Nvidia DLSS 4.5.

Infinity Ward also promises improved ray tracing and competitive-focused settings aimed at better performance tuning.

The move underscores stronger PC support and raises the bar for optimization in future AAA releases.
