Report: Dreams and LittleBigPlanet studio Media Molecule developing new open-world IP

Media Molecule is reportedly developing an unannounced new IP with open-world content, level design, and gameplay scripting.

The claim comes from a senior environment designer’s portfolio, with MP1st highlighting work on forage design, level blocking, and survival mechanics.

Former co-founder Mark Healey had already suggested the project looked more like a game than a creative tool.

If true, it would mark a major shift for Media Molecule as it moves beyond its Dreams-era focus after support ended and staffing was cut.
