Rakuten Card adds AI to chat support, cutting response time by 60 seconds

Rakuten Card has deployed an AI search system in its chat support to speed up operator responses.

The AI selects from existing templates and suggests optimal replies to operators to improve accuracy.

The company said the change should reduce final response time by about 60 seconds.

Chat support, introduced in 2017, now handles over 60% of operator inquiries.
