Supermicro shows off Vera Rubin NVL72 rack with all-new type of coolant — company claims coolant offers 1,000 times higher electrical impedance over standard cooling

Supermicro unveiled upcoming AI rack systems based on Nvidia Vera Rubin and AMD platforms at Computex.

The company also introduced a new liquid-cooling coolant for its racks, saying it has 1,000 times higher electrical impedance than standard coolant.

The fluid is intended to be used in new systems including the VR200 NVL72 and AMD Helios.

If the coolant is truly more leak-resistant, it could lower shutdown risk and improve uptime in expensive rack-scale AI data centers.
