AWS launches AWS CloudFormation Express mode, which can make deployment up to 4 times faster

AWS has launched a new CloudFormation “Express mode” that skips waiting for resources to fully stabilize, finishing deployments much faster.

In cases like deleting SQS queues or Lambda functions, it delivers much larger time savings than Standard mode.

It is especially useful for iterative deployments, testing, and automated infrastructure workflows where reduced waiting time improves productivity.
