Xbox Game Pass Losing 8 Games Today, Including Some of Its Highest-Rated Titles

Xbox Game Pass is set to remove eight more games on July 31, 2026, after an app update added Whiskerwood to the earlier seven-title list.

The departures include Celeste and Crusader Kings 3, both highly rated on OpenCritic, plus My Friendly Neighborhood, Back to the Dawn, Sniper Elite: Resistance, Rain World, and Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord.

With these additions, July 2026’s total Game Pass departures rise to 18, making it the first month this year where the service loses more games than it adds.
