Riot responds to Vanguard 'bricking' claims: "We would not, and cannot, impact your PC's functionality"

Riot says Vanguard is not bricking PCs and does not damage hardware, software, or components.

The anti-cheat update targets cheat devices such as DMA hardware, which may stop working in Valorant.

Normal computer functions remain intact, but Riot still requires IOMMU to play its games.

The clarification comes after players worried Vanguard could break their systems.
