AMD Radeon RX 9070 GRE review: thoroughly midrange

AMD is taking the Radeon RX 9070 GRE global at $549, moving it beyond China-only availability.

The card is a cut-down RDNA 4 model with Navi 48, 48 compute units, 12GB of 18Gbps GDDR6, and lower bandwidth than higher RX 9070 variants.

Tom's Hardware says it arrives in a distorted GPU market where many competing cards now sell far above launch pricing.

Its appeal is straightforward: a more affordable Radeon option for solid 1440p gaming in the crowded midrange.
