AMD promises 13% uplift with new EXPO ‘Ultra Low Latency’ overclocking on DDR5 DIMMs — automatic memory overclocking delivers 4% improvement over standard EXPO, says AMD

AMD unveiled EXPO Ultra Low Latency, an automatic DDR5 overclocking profile for Ryzen systems.

In internal tests on a Ryzen 7 9700X, AMD says it delivered 13% average gaming gains over JEDEC DDR5-5600 CL46 and 4% over standard EXPO.

AMD also reported improved 1% low frame rates, suggesting smoother gameplay in addition to higher averages.

The feature should arrive through major memory makers like G.Skill and Kingston, but AMD has not shared a release date or full technical details.
