Nvidia is finally ditching its iconic GPU Control Panel after 20 years — new driver updates only ship in the Nvidia App

Nvidia is phasing out the Nvidia Control Panel for GeForce users.

The panel will stop getting new features and will no longer ship with future Game Ready and Studio drivers.

Nvidia is moving remaining GPU settings into the Nvidia App, which now handles tuning, monitoring, optimization, and driver management.

RTX Pro support will continue for now until professional tools are fully migrated, and the old panel remains in maintenance mode via the Microsoft Store.
