Deltarune Chapter 5 gets final patch as devs turn full focus on Chapter 6

Toby Fox has released v0.0.253, the final planned update for Deltarune Chapter 5.

The patch mainly fixes bugs from earlier chapters, but also adds new “Nicer” and “Meaner” difficulty options for Chapter 5’s Shadow Crystal boss, Pink.

Fox said no more Chapter 5 updates are planned, and development is now focused on Chapter 6, which is slated for 2027.

The update ends active support for Chapter 5 and marks the next step in Deltarune’s long release roadmap.
