Shovel Knight studio’s ‘make or break’ new game has the highest reviews of the year

Yacht Club Games’ crowdfunded action-platformer Mina the Hollower has earned a 92 Metacritic score ahead of launch.

The game has also picked up multiple perfect reviews from outlets including IGN and RPG Site.

Its strong critical reception makes it the highest-rated game of the year so far.

With the May 29 release set for Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, the buzz could boost sales for Yacht Club Games’ make-or-break project.
