A Moonlight Peaks guide says the full moon appears on day 15 of every season and can be reached by advancing days.

On that night, players can unlock the Awooooo! achievement and trigger a special encounter with the Moon Goddess.

The full moon also opens a chance to catch the Moonflutter Fish, making it important for progression and collection goals.
