Modix launched the MAMA-1000, a fully enclosed large-format 3D printer built around pellet extrusion.

It uses a 5 mm nozzle and can output up to 3 kg of material per hour, with a filament toolhead available for finer detail.

The machine offers a one-cubic-meter build volume and optional accessories such as a dryer and pigment mixer.

It ships fully assembled with professional installation and starts at $35,000, targeting industrial users needing big parts fast.
