The MCU Is Taking a Huge Risk With Doctor Doom

Marvel is being criticized for rushing Doctor Doom in as the Multiverse Saga’s new central villain after the Kang storyline collapsed.

Unlike Thanos, who was built up across multiple films, Doom may arrive without enough setup, making his threat feel underdeveloped.

If Marvel does not establish his motives and scale of danger in time, the saga’s main conflict could lose impact.

The key test is whether Marvel can properly flesh out Doom before films like Fantastic Four: First Steps and Avengers: Doomsday.
