Apple Intelligence Accidentally Goes Live in China Before Regulatory Approval

Apple accidentally rolled out Apple Intelligence features in China, where some users briefly saw them in Settings.

Apple removed the features and Bloomberg reported the rollout was unintended and not an imminent launch.

China requires CAC approval of AI models and Apple is working with Alibaba but still needs regulatory clearance.
