Intel Bets on Premium Chips, and the Gamble Pays Off With Server Prices Jumping 48% in Q2

Intel said its server CPU average selling prices rose 48% year over year in Q2 2026.

The increase was driven mainly by a richer mix of premium products and supported by pricing actions.

Server CPU volumes also grew 9%, while data center revenue jumped 59% to $6.3 billion.
