Fei-Fei Li's world model has finally started training robots

World Labs, led by Li Fei-fei, has launched R2S2R, a real-to-sim-to-real engine for robot training and evaluation.

Built after acquiring SceniX, the system reconstructs real robot tasks in simulation, then uses those environments to train, test, and deploy policies back on hardware.

The company says R2S2R can scale robot learning without real-world training data, while helping reproduce failures and improve transfer across robot platforms.

It could make embodied AI development far more efficient by using aligned simulations to validate policies before real-world use.
