AMD Previews EXPO Ultra Low Latency Memory, Delivers 15% Better Gaming Performance Than Standard DDR5 Sticks

AMD previewed EXPO Ultra Low Latency, a new DDR5 memory profile that automatically lowers latency for Ryzen systems.

AMD says the mode can lift average gaming FPS by 13% vs JEDEC DDR5 and 4% vs current EXPO, with 1% lows up 15% vs JEDEC.

EXPO 1.2 will add ULL mode and broader memory support, with partner kits from G.Skill, Kingston Fury, KLEVV, Lexar, TeamGroup, V-Color, XPG, and Origin Code shipping in June.
