FFXIV and FF7 collide at last in Evercold's first 8-person raid, Beyond the Lifestream

Square Enix unveiled Beyond the Lifestream, Final Fantasy XIV Evercold’s first eight-player raid and its first full Final Fantasy 7 collaboration.

The three-tier raid will start in patch 8.01 after Evercold launches in January 2027, with normal, a new mid-tier, and savage difficulty options.

The crossover marks a major expansion for FFXIV, bringing FF7-themed raid content and broader collaboration appeal.

Square Enix also announced Keybound Brawler, a Gold Saucer typing minigame arriving October 28 with FF7 rewards.
