Pokémon Winds and Waves is expected to feature an open world inspired by Southeast Asia.

The games reportedly add exploration both above and below water, plus version-exclusive starter outfits.

Three new starters are said to be Browt, Pombon, and Gecqua, while the trailer mostly showed returning Pokémon.

Special Pikachu variants, including Mr. Windychu and Ms. Wavychu, also appeared in the preview.
