Now Tekken 8’s game director has followed Harada out the Bandai Namco exit door

Tekken 8 game director Kohei Ikeda has left Bandai Namco, saying the Tekken team will continue in capable hands.

Ikeda did not give a reason for his departure, but said he will take on new challenges as a game developer.

He reflected on directing Tekken 7 and Tekken 8, as well as earlier work on Tekken Tag Tournament 1 and 2.

The exit adds to leadership turnover around Tekken after Katsuhiro Harada’s departure and a rocky launch for Tekken 8.
