Tekken 8 game director follows franchise head Harada in leaving Bandai Namco

Tekken 8 director Kohei Ikeda has left Bandai Namco after nearly two decades at the company.

Ikeda also directed Tekken 7 and was a key leader on the franchise’s recent success.

His exit follows Katsuhiro Harada’s earlier departure, leaving Tekken without two of its most important figures.

The move adds uncertainty around the series’ future direction as Harada builds a new studio.
