Sony leak and photos show expensive new 1000XM headphones

Leaks suggest Sony is preparing a new ultra-premium 1000X headphone model, possibly called 1000X The ColleXion.

Reported details include a non-folding design, metal and synthetic leather materials, and advanced noise cancellation.

The headset is said to cost $649 in the U.S., placing it well above the WH-1000XM6.

If true, Sony is pushing its flagship headphones into a higher price tier and taking on rivals like AirPods Max 2 and Bowers & Wilkins Px8 S2.
