RTX 4090 Suffering From “Memory Corruption” With 1.5GB Reduced VRAM Gets No Warranty Replacement From GIGABYTE; Company Says GPU Boots and Runs Fine

An RTX 4090 owner in Romania reported VRAM errors and roughly 1.5GB of missing capacity from the card's 24GB framebuffer.

GIGABYTE reportedly denied a warranty replacement, saying its own tests showed the card booted and operated normally.

The case shows how intermittent or diagnostic-only VRAM faults can be difficult to prove during the RMA process.
