Modder uses Claude AI to rewrite BIOS to boot unsupported 12 P-core Bartlett Lake CPU on Z790

A modder named kryptonfly used Claude AI to modify a motherboard BIOS and post evidence on Overclock.net.

They got an OEM-only 12 P-core Bartlett Lake CPU to POST and boot Windows on an Asus Z790-AYW OC Wi‑Fi after multiple trials.

The modder bypassed initialization issues by making the board treat Bartlett Lake components as Raptor Lake parts, but BIOS entry and memory init bugs remain.

Kryptonfly plans to port the modified BIOS to other LGA 1700 Asus models including Apex and Encore.
