Qualcomm announces Snapdragon C Platform for $300 and up laptops — Windows on Arm and NPUs for the budget tier

Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon C Platform for budget Windows on Arm laptops starting around $300.

The chip uses a custom Kryo-based design for efficient, cool-running performance and includes an NPU for local AI tasks.

It supports Windows on Arm but not Copilot+, making it a lower-cost alternative to Snapdragon X systems.

Acer, HP, and Lenovo are preparing laptops based on the platform, including Acer’s Aspire Go 15 with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage.
