Drone startup uses inflatable ‘marshmallow’ wing design to boost safety, efficiency

French startup Celeste Ecoflyers completed ground avionics testing for its 8-meter inflatable-wing dAS10 drone.

The company is pitching a slow, lightweight design for safer, more efficient last-mile delivery operations.

It says the approach could lower collision damage, reduce cybersecurity impact, and improve energy efficiency.

The dAS10 has been registered with the French civil aviation register and tested at Le Havre airport.
