Pillars of Eternity Gets a 10th Anniversary Update? - PC Perspective

Obsidian has added a major turn-based combat update to the original Pillars of Eternity, 10 years after launch.

The new mode includes proper turn-based play and free actions, and differs from the system used in Deadfire.

Originally built around real-time-with-pause combat, the update gives longtime fans a fresh way to revisit the 2015 RPG.

It may also help renew interest in the game across platforms including GOG.
