Don't Expect A Pokémon GO Sequel Any Time Soon

He said splitting the game’s massive player base would weaken the community that made it successful.

Pokémon GO has been downloaded more than 500 million times and has generated over $8.8 billion.

The game continues under Scopely after Niantic’s acquisition, with future projects likely needing a different approach.
