Chinese CXMT DRAM doesn't look like the budget savior many were expecting — new modules enter the market, but prices still track the big three

Consumer memory modules using CXMT DRAM are now appearing in China.

Early pricing is roughly on par with, or slightly above, comparable modules from Samsung, SK hynix, and Micron.

Any chip-level cost advantage may be offset by capacity limits, pricing strategy, and validation costs.

As a result, CXMT products are not yet looking like a clear low-cost alternative in the memory market.
